Liposuction
Liposuction is not a weight loss method but surgery that removes fat from the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, neck, back of arms and elsewhere. The amount of fat removed will vary but the average is typically less than 10 pounds.
The procedure may be performed under general or local anesthesia. It is ideal for the patient to be as fit as possible before the procedure and for smokers to have stopped for several months.
